- I am an everyday girl with an everyday life. This blog is a place for me to babble and vent about my experiences and thinking as I live an unexpected but wonderful life. I work as a sign language interpreter in a local high school and love my job. I'm blessed to live in a lovely apartment with a great roommate who is also a longtime friend. Because I'm addicted to books, there is some concern that my large library may cause my bedroom to fall to the first floor. The craziest and perhaps best thing I've ever done was host a high school exchange student from Germany for a year. I grew up in a big family so my general social policy is "the more the merrier". The truth is that it's necessary for me to have many friends in order to keep any one person from tiring of the sound of my voice. Watch out for my sarcasm and my mischievous streak. If random/eclectic was a personality type, it would fit me perfectly. Just when you think you have me figured out or think you know what to expect you'll find out that you don't.

True but you can only smell old books when you're up close to them. I want the scent to permeate my house. :)
