The massive pirate ship rocking wildly, cannons booming, strange and terrible creatures boarding the ship and thirsty for blood...and in the midst of the chaos and evil, Will and Elizabeth clinging to each other with one hand and fighting off the enemy with the other. Nothing has gone as they expected, misunderstandings and messes have complicated everything, nevertheless they've chosen love and they're fighting for it...together.
Passion and perseverance, fighting for each other and against evil, together no matter what comes...a beautiful image of marriage as it should be in this broken world. Though the fairy tale may only be temporary or not come true at all, though life and each other are far from perfect, two people make a choice - a choice to love one another deeply and truly, knowing that whatever life may bring they choose to face it together.
This is what I'm waiting for, not perfection but love anyway, not a life without troubles but life with someone who knows we may face evil but we will fight it together. And for my dearly loved friends who already have their companion on life's journey, hold onto each other and fight the enemy together.
